Life isn't supposed to be this hard, and psychiatric help for ADHD and mood disorders has been too cookie cutter for too long. Mood disorders and ADHD are not a medication deficiency. Women with these conditions, especially, have been vastly underserved.
My name is Tricia Eshleman Latimer, and I'm a wife, mother, psychiatrist and psychotherapist. I'm passionate about helping women overcome their mental health challenges by getting to the root of their issue. Humans are multi-dimensional and overcoming mental health issues often doesn't just require one approach. Therefore, I want to offer you an individualized approach, integrating insight-oriented psychotherapy, thoughtful medication use, lifestyle changes, and nutritional supplementation. By listening to your story and unique experience, I want you to feel empowered to share in the decision-making so you can grow in resilience, discovering how that resilience manifests in your life.
I attended Bluffton University, a small liberal arts university, for my undergraduate training. Following this, I obtained my medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. I then stayed at the University of Cincinnati/UCMC for my adult psychiatry training.
